3M Fluorinated Liquid FC-40 is a colorless, transparent perfluorochemical with excellent chemical inertness, electrical insulation properties, thermal conductivity, and surface tension. It is used as a heat transfer medium in semiconductor manufacturing plants. The liquid temperature range is from -57°C to 155°C, and it is primarily applied in etching equipment, ion implantation equipment, testing equipment, and other devices. Because FC-40 is a single-component substance, its composition is less prone to degradation or expiration. With a high boiling point, FC-40 also exhibits minimal evaporation over time.

Requirements for Secondary Coolants:

1. The secondary coolant should remain in a liquid state at operating temperatures; its freezing point should be ** below the operating temperature, and its boiling point should be ** above the operating temperature;

2. High heat capacity;

3. Low density;

4. Low viscosity; good chemical stability. It should not corrode equipment or pipelines;
